Position: Hydro-Mechanical Engineer

Department: Technical

Location: Tirana

Position Summary: The Hydro-Mechanical Engineer coordinates all mechanical services, both during the construction phase and during the implementation of the project on site. They oversee the installation of all hydro-mechanical and HVAC systems included in the project. The engineer plans, organizes, and manages the work to stay within budget and to complete a high-quality project.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design Phase Monitoring:
• Follow the design phases of hydro-mechanical and HVAC systems at all stages.
• Progress Tracking:
• Monitor the progress of hydro-mechanical and HVAC systems at all stages and coordinate work between different installation teams.
• Work Planning and Supervision:
• Plan, organize, and supervise the work of various installation teams to ensure that all work is performed according to the parameters defined in the project.
• Documentation Preparation:
• Prepare all necessary documentation for the handover of completed works for hydro-mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Legal Documentation:
• Prepare all necessary technical-legal documentation for obtaining the relevant permits from central or local institutions.
• Market Analysis:
• Identify the market for materials and various local or foreign installation teams and prepare the cost of installing hydro-mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Monthly and Progressive Reporting:
• Draft and review monthly and progressive reports, periodic maintenance of hydro-mechanical and HVAC systems, and ensure compliance with technical safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

Degree in Hydro-Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

Over 5 years of work experience in HVAC, electrical systems, ventilation, and cooling techniques.

Other Skills:

• Competence in designing, accurately programming, installing, and testing hydro-mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read project plans and technical specifications, as well as strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of hydro-mechanical and HVAC system processes and materials, as well as cost management.
• Experience with CAD and MS Office is an advantage.
• Experience in contract drafting for hydro-mechanical and HVAC system installations.
