Position: Construction Engineer (Office)

Department: Technical

Location: Tiranë

Position Summary: The engineer is responsible for drafting, preparing metric volume tables, measurement books, partial and progressive work situations, and the work schedule up to the handover phase of the project.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To draft and prepare work volume tables for the planned projects to be constructed by the Company.
• To interact with the technical staff in preparing estimates for the planned projects to be constructed by the Company.
• To coordinate with the relevant personnel for ordering materials and meeting the requirements to carry out processes in compliance with the work schedule of the projects undertaken for construction.
• To draft and prepare measurement books, monthly work situations, technical price analyses for the Company’s works, and those of its subcontractors.
• To interact with the technical staff in controlling and evaluating work volumes in the estimates of contracts/tenders with public/private funds where the Company aims to participate.
• To interact for the realization of price analyses.

Requirements:

Education:

• Degree in Construction Engineering.

Experience:

Over 5 years of work experience as a construction engineer.

Other Skills:

• Proficient in basic Microsoft Office programs, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD 2D & 3D, etc.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and demands dictated by the construction market.
• Ability to suggest solutions and make decisions.
• Good skills in contract management, communication, etc.
• Updated with market prices for various processes in civil and industrial construction.
• Able to work in a team, in collaboration with other staff members of the company.
