Role: Structural Engineer

Design Department | Structural Branch

Location: Tirana

Role Summary: We are seeking a Building Engineer with a focus on structural engineering, who has a strong passion for the profession and will be responsible for the design and analysis of civil and industrial structures, as well as preparing detailed calculations related to the strength and stability of these structures. The candidate must be motivated and committed to executing constructive projects that involve the application of the best technologies and practices in implementation while optimizing costs.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare designs for the structures of civil and industrial buildings in accordance with European design norms and standards;
• Create structural models of civil or industrial buildings using computer-aided design software;
• Calculate the permanent and temporary loads of civil and industrial structures;
• Select appropriate materials based on the characteristics of the structure;
• Draft drawings, final reports, and preventive measures for civil and industrial projects;
• Supervise the construction processes of building structures and assist in resolving issues that arise during this phase;
• Collaborate and coordinate work with colleagues in the Technical Department of the company, such as architects, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and other discipline engineers, to ensure a high-quality final product at the most cost-effective price.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Structural Engineering;
• Over 3 years of work experience;
• Good experience and knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards;
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and market demands in the construction sector;
• Ability to suggest solutions and make decisions;
• Ability to work in a team, collaborating and interacting with other staff members of the company.
