Position: Health and Safety Coordinator (HSE)
Location: Durrës
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implements and monitors company policies and procedures in compliance with current legislation;
- Organizes and conducts periodic safety briefings for company employees and subcontractor workers;
- Organizes and maintains technical and legal documentation related to occupational health and safety;
- Trains employees to understand and implement the Risk Assessment Document (DVR) in their daily activities;
- Conducts daily inspections on-site to identify and manage risks and to verify compliance with safety measures;
- Identifies and eliminates potential hazards through preventive and corrective actions in line with the DVR and safety plan;
- Informs and trains staff on emergency evacuation procedures according to the safety plan;
- Collects and maintains records of inspections, trainings, accidents, and all activities related to occupational health and safety;
- Prepares detailed weekly safety reports to be submitted to site supervisors and the Health and Safety Manager;
- Ensures regular communication with the site director regarding safety implementation and necessary improvements, as well as with the Health and Safety Manager;
- Drafts, updates, and implements emergency response procedures in collaboration with responsible teams;
- Verifies that all staff have received their Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensures the completion and archiving of the relevant handover records.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Engineering;
- 2–3 years of work experience;
- Relevant certifications or additional training certificates are considered an advantage;
- Proficiency in MS Office;
- Knowledge of English;
- Problem-solving skills;
- Flexibility to respond immediately in emergency situations;
- Strong communication, organizational, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
