Role: Construction Engineer in Implementation

Department: Technical

Location: Durrës

Role Overview: The Implementation Engineer is responsible for planning and organizing the construction site in accordance with the project, the budget, technical specifications, and the work schedule until the handover of the building. The engineer conducts daily checks before and after work completion. They maintain a daily construction report for the Project Manager. They implement K.T.Z., health and safety regulations, together with trained personnel for first aid. The Implementation Engineer coordinates with the construction technician for the ordering of materials and needs to carry out daily processes in compliance with the work schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize construction work on the site in accordance with the project, technical implementation conditions, technical specifications, and quality plan within the project’s budget, preventive costs, and deadlines.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly plans and present them for discussion and approval to the Site Manager.
• Conduct daily checks before and after work and maintain the relevant minutes, ensuring the approval of ongoing processes.
• Implement the work schedule in line with the deadlines specified in the contracts for the execution of work, and complete the work diary and site book daily.
• Coordinate with relevant personnel to order materials and fulfill daily process needs in compliance with the work schedule.
• Supervise and keep records of all measurements taken for volumes and the relevant minutes between parties.
• Prepare monthly reports, measurement books, and cost reports for the work carried out by the company’s work teams and/or subcontractors.
• Prepare progress reports and present them periodically to the Project Manager according to the project’s requirements.
• Coordinate, supervise, and ensure that all materials arriving at the site meet the order specifications, comply with technical requirements, and are accompanied by original quality certificates.
• Supervise and be responsible for the accuracy, quality of use, storage, and consumption norms of materials placed on the project.
• Perform weekly or monthly reconciliations with the Finance Department regarding costs, inventories, warehouse status, and material withdrawals.
• Supervise the monthly physical inventory checks of materials.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must have a degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must have over 5 years of work experience.
• Must have good skills in contract management, communication, etc.
• Must have a good command of the English language.
• Must be familiar with the technology and new requirements dictated by the construction market.
• Must be updated on market prices for various construction processes in civil and industrial buildings.
• Must have the ability to suggest solutions and make decisions.
• Must be able to work in a team, collaborating with other staff members of the company.
• Must be proficient in basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCad 2D&3D, etc.
